Partnering With Carbon Neutral

Arbortech and Carbon Neutral would like to thank all our generous customers who shopped with us during our ‘Plant-A-Tree’ initiative in late 2021.

During the month of September, we donated a plant for every core woodworking product sold via our Australian online store. The native tree or shrub species will be planted as part of their ‘Yarra Yarra Biodiversity Corridor’ project.

For more than 20 years, Carbon Neutral has been working with individuals and organisations to reduce their impact on the planet. Based in the northern Wheatbelt of south-west Australia, the Yarra Yarra Biodiversity Corridor project focuses on revegetating unproductive, degraded farmland to its original condition, and restoring the precious ecosystems within it.

Here at Arbortech, we are big believers in ‘walking the talk’ and are passionate about what we can do as a business, to give back and make a difference.

“If businesses are only interested in money, they’ll go off the rails,” Kevin Inkster said. “The world’s consciousness is changing. We owe everything to nature. Not just wood and oil, everything is dependent on nature and everything comes from nature. The sooner we realise that, the better we will become.”

For now, this initiative is only valid in Australia, but we look forward to exploring similar issues across more regions soon. Find out more about Carbon Neutral and their projects here
